Asus EcoBook - An Eco book in style

The earth is burning. So what do we do? Well, until a solution comes up, we could at least try and and use as much environmentally friendly products as possible. Asus is going to launch the first laptop to boast real bamboo panelling (yes, bamboo as in the stuff the panda's have for lunch...and dinner). Not only that but the laptop relies on eco - friendly technologies for it's total construction and there is also a LED index for when the laptop is on high or low energy consumption.

Before it hit the market, the company had to do a lot of testing to find out if the sustainable outer shell could withstand heavy use but according to the company, everything went fine since "bamboo is the most sustainable raw material there is"!
