PayPal international transactions bug is troubling users

Publication Date: 29 May, 2008 | Category: Shopping

It appears that a PayPal bug has affected its international transactions. New PayPal members are unable to complete a payment to a person or company if both are not located in the same country. According to the GetClicky blog the problem started on May 15 and it was acknowledged by Paypal only after a week.

According to a TechCrunch post: "The most likely explanation for the ridiculous amount of time it has taken to fix it: it's probably stuck in a bug queue, and has to wait its turn. Meanwhile, PayPal merchants are losing money."

This has probably left some Paypal customers more than frustrated. PayPal is known for its flexibility as a company so let's hope this bug will get fixed soon.
